Gallup Poll's website is an interesting site...but don't expect to be cheered up after reading stuff on the site. Link: http://www.gallup.com/Home.aspx
One poll I found interesting is that Americans daily spending is down 40% from last year. "According to Gallup Poll Daily tracking, Americans, on average, spent $61 per day in stores, restaurants, gas stations, or online in the 14-day period ending Feb. 11. Spending is down 40% from the $102 average for the same two-week period a year ago."
In case you are interested Obama's approval rating dropped a little...now 62%...which is still very good of course. But 79% of those interviewed by Gallup are "dissatisfied" with the State of the Union and Consumer Confidence was 76% negative. So the vast majority is dissatisfied and negative but still approve of Obama...let's see how long the honeymoon lasts.
